Important Announcement Regarding Shellshock Vulnerability
TASC is very serious about maintaining the security and privacy of Client and Participant data. Recently, you may have heard about Shellshock. This bug is a vulnerability in a very popular program—Bash—that is present on almost every Linux-based computer and device in the world. The bug can be used to remotely take control of systems using Bash.
We are unaware of any unauthorized system access to our platforms. On September 25, 2014, we installed a patch to guard against this issue. And while we have mitigated the threat, we will continue to monitor with vigilance, and will apply verified patches as needed.
