TASC addresses SSL 3.0 issue
Computer users around the world have been concerned about a new vulnerability, this time regarding SSL 3.0, the “secure socket layer” cryptographic protocol designed to provide secure communication over the internet. TASC has taken immediate action to eliminate this risk to our customers. We have disabled the application from tasconline.com and MyTASC, and continue to work diligently to update our other websites over the upcoming weeks as well.
As always, TASC is very serious about maintaining the security and privacy of Client and Participant data. Our vigilant review of all of our systems has found no evidence of unauthorized system access. No action is required on your part. Major Internet browsers such as, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Apple Safari and Firefox have removed support for SSL 3.0.
You may continue to manage your TASC account(s) online with confidence.
